Our Core Vision:
We're here to help people Know God, Find Freedom, Discover their Purpose, and Make a Difference in their life and society
Whether you're new to church, have been a Christian for many years, or are looking for a fresh start, you're welcome here. We hope to give you a place where you experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people.
We keep our focus simple so we can have the biggest impact possible. Everything we do as a church is filtered through our focus on helping you live the full life for which God created all of you.
Weekend Services. God wants you to know Him personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants to have a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to learn more about what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.
Life Groups. One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our lives to help us in the journey. Connecting with others in FavorLife Groups is a practical and enjoyable way to find that kind of life-changing community.
Growth Track. We're all an important part of God's plan, and our life will never make sense until we discover our purpose. The FavorLife Growth Track sessions are designed to help us take steps in the important process of discovering our purpose, and there are opportunities to attend these sessions.
Dream Team. This is God's ultimate plan for our life - to make a difference in the lives of others. When we do, the Bible tells us we will experience joy. Through the FavorLife Dream Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the church and the community.
Our mission is to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity and equip them for ministry in the Church, and their life mission in the world, to magnify God. We are committed to Christ's 5-fold purposes below.
Worship
We are committed to celebrating God's presence in worship. It doesn't matter if we're by ourselves, with a small group, or with a crowd of people. Any time we express our love to God, we're worshiping. We believe worship shouldn't be a religious duty. We worship God because we want to magnify and exalt His name.
"A sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4:7 (Mes)
Fellowship
God formed humankind for His family - the Church. We are called to belong to God's Church. In the Bible, two of the Church's descriptions are that the Church is a body of Christ, and the Church is a family of God. This Church is all about community, and fellowships –we belong to each other, and we need each other. We are committed to creating an environment and helping people experience the supernatural love of God, and through this produce people who have a genuine heart for loving God and loving others as the family of God.
"In Christ, we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. So we belong to each other, and each [of us] needs all the others." Romans 12:5 (NIV+LB)
Discipleship
We are committed to developing God's people through discipleship to spiritual maturity, teaching them to obey Christ and become more like Him in their thoughts, feelings, and actions. This is God's will for every believer.
"We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them TO BECOME LIKE HIS SON, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters." Romans 8:28-29 (NLT)
Ministry
We are committed to demonstrating God's love through ministry or service. Ministry is showing God's love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus. We believe God's people are called to minister to all kinds of needs: spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical. Every time we reach out in love to someone, we are ministering to them.
"What can I give back to God for the blessings He's poured out on me?" Psalm 116:12 (Mes)
"God in His grace chose me even before I was born, and called me to serve Him." Galatians 1:15 (GN)
Evangelism
We are committed to communicating God's Word through evangelism. We are ambassadors for Christ and believe it is our responsibility to share the Good News wherever we go. Evangelism is more than our responsibility; it is our great privilege. As long as there's one person in the world who doesn't know Christ, our Church will continue to reach out.
"Through Christ, God has made peace between us and Himself, and He gave us the work of telling everyone about the peace we can have with Him . . . So, we have been sent to speak for Christ!" 2 Corinthians 5:18,20 (NCV)
