What is the Dream Team?

The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. We are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.

At FavorLife we seek to inspire a culture of ownership where every member is a minister. Our goal is to empower our members to own the responsibility and authority to serve in a servant-leadership capacity. Our aim is helping our members to know that they are indeed ambassadors for Christ, not meant only to come and listen or even to tell others about Jesus, but also to be his hands and feet serving as the church is called to serve. We advocate delegating logistical decision-making authority to our lay-ministry leaders so that the pastor can focus maximum attention on fulfilling the purposes of the church while boldly trusting God to cause the growth,  as evidenced in Moses’ delegatory practices (Exodus 18).

After attending Growth Track sessions you will be acquainted with the practical how-tos to serve in unity in a ministry area.

Following is the Servant Leader Declaration and the servant leadership ministries to make a difference in God’s kingdom. 

 LEADER DECLARATION

Because God has called me to serve my generation, I will value worship over wealth, “we” over “me,” character over comfort, service over status, and God’s purposes over possessions, positions, popularity, and pleasure. To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I say: However, whenever, wherever, and whatever you ask me to do, my answer in advance is yes! Wherever you lead and whatever the cost, I’m ready anytime, anywhere. I want to be used by You in such a way that on that final day, I’ll hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Come on in, and let the eternal party begin!”

A-Team

Our team uses our gift of administration to support FavorLife teams by using computer skills, data entry, and attention to details.

 Baptism Team

Our team prepares for and hosts the FavorLife’ baptism experience. 

Dream Team Check-In Team

Our team serves all Dream Team members by assisting with check-in 

Events Team

Our team serves at church-wide events by setting up decorations and facilitating meals and snacks. 

First Responders

Our team of health care professionals serves by providing basic medical care in the event of an accident or emergency. Open to professionals with medical certification. 

Greeter Team

Our team welcomes people and hands out worship guides at the entrance of the meeting room. 

Growth Track Host Team

Our team serves as the hosts of the Growth Track, greeting guests and providing materials and assistance to those discovering their next steps at FavorLife. 

FavorLife Kids Team

Our team invests in the lives of children through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, Small Groups, and games. 

FavorLife Worship

Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, instruments, and audio engineering. 

Production Team

Our team assists in the production of the overall worship experience, including running lights, cameras, livestream equipment, and other visual elements. 

Resource Team

Our team enhances the worship experience by preparing worship guides, communion elements, and providing other products or materials. 

Small Group Leaders

We are trained to facilitate Small Groups and equipped to build relationships while helping group members discover their next steps. 

Usher Team

Our team of men assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.
