SECRETS TO GOD'S BLESSING ON YOUR LIFE
GO DEEPER TO GO HIGHER! - Pt 4

 1. GOD BLESSES PEOPLE WHO SEEK HIS KINGDOM

 “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well!” Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

 “He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to” Matthew 6:33 (LB)

 1st Secret: WHATEVER I WANT GOD TO BLESS, I MUST PUT HIM  FIRST PLACE IN

  F - Finances

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first and best part of all your income. Then your barns will be full, and your vats will overflow” Proverbs 3:9-10 (GW)

 I – Interests

“Whatever you do, do everything to the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (GW)

 R - Relationships

“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken” Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT)

 S - Schedule

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” Psalm 90:12, 14 (NIV)

 T - Trouble

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.” Psalm 50:15 (NIV)

 2. GOD BLESSES PEOPLE WHO DEPEND ON HIS POWER

 “You [God] bless all who depend on you for their strength.”  Psalm 84:5a (CEV)

 “The LORD is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him.” Lamentations 3:25 (NLT)

 “All who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.” Galatians 3:9 (NLT)

 2nd Secret: THE MORE I DEPEND ON GOD, THE MORE GOD WILL BLESS ME

 HOW CAN YOU DEVELOP YOUR FAITH?

• BY TAKING RISKS TO GROW AND OBEY GOD.

 “I will bless the person who puts their trust in Me.” Jeremiah 17:7 (GN) 

• BY NOT GIVING UP WHEN DISCOURAGED OR AFRAID.

 “God will bless you if you don't give up when your faith is being tested.  He will reward you with a glorious life.” James 1:12 (CEV)

 3. GOD BLESSES PEOPLE WHO LIVE FOR HIS GLORY

  “He [God] will bless everyone who honors Him, the great and the small alike.” Psalm 115:13 (GN)

 HOW CAN I LIVE FOR GOD’S GLORY? BY USING MY ABILITIES TO HELP OTHER BELIEVERS.

 “God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other... so that God will be glorified.” 1 Peter 4:10-11a (LB)

 3rd Secret: THE MORE I HELP OTHERS, THE MORE GOD HELPS ME

 “The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others will be helped.”  Proverbs 11:25 (MSG)

   “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” John 13:17 (NIV)

 “The Lord All-Powerful said: “You people are precious to me, and when I come to bring justice, I will protect you, just as parents protect an obedient child. Then everyone will once again see the difference between those who obey me by doing right and those who reject me by doing wrong.” Malachi 3:17-18 (CEV)
