How To Cope With Change

    Mar 22, 2020 | by Mike Prah

    PRAYER POINTS - Isaiah 25

Begin with praising the name of the Lord. God instructs us to enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise.

"1 O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for You are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now You have accomplished them ... 4 But You are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord, a tower of refuge to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. 6 The Lord of Heaven’s Armies will 7 remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth. 8 He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against His land and people. The Lord has spoken!” Isaiah 25: 1, 4, 6-8, NLT)

Pray, receive and thank God for the following blessings He has promised in Isaiah 25 by faith:

    I. ASK GOD TO DO WONDERFUL THINGS IN YOUR LIFE

“O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for You are my God. You do such wonderful things!” (Is. 25:1a)

    2. PRAY FOR GOD'S PLANS & PROMISES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED IN YOUR LIFE

“ … You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now You have accomplished them” (Is. 25:1b)

    4. PRAY FOR GOD'S PROTECTION

You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat.” (Is. 25:4b)

    5. PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE & VICTORY

“The Lord of Heaven’s Armies will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth. 8 The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against His land and people. The Lord has spoken!” (Is. 25: 6-8)

    2 Corinthians 4:16-17

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NLT)

    FOCAL POINT/ WISDOM KEY:

To cope with Change, I Must Base My Life on

    What’s Going to Last Forever

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."  Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)

    1. GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE

“The Lord said … “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” Jeremiah 31:3 (NLT)

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”  Romans 8:35, 37 (NLT)

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

    2. GOD’S WORD WILL NEVER CHANGE

"Forever, O Lord, is Your word settled in heaven."  Psalm 119:89 (NKJV)

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God stands  forever."  Isaiah 40:8 (NKJV)

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV)

    3. GOD’S ULTIMATE PURPOSE WILL NEVER, NEVER CHANGE

“Surely the righteous will never be shaken … They will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” Psalm 112:6-7 (NIV)
