Prayer Moment | Psalm 125

PRAYER POINTS WITH PASTOR MIKE PRAH

Come before the Lord worshiping and thanking God for who He is and all He’s done for you.

Today’s prayer is based on Psalm 125.

“Everyone who trusts the Lord is like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken and will stand forever. 2 Just as Jerusalem is protected by mountains on every side, the Lord protects His people by holding them in His arms now and forever. 3 He won’t let the wicked rule His people or lead them to do wrong. 4 Let’s ask the Lord to be kind to everyone who is good and completely obeys Him … 5 Pray for peace!” (Psalm 125:1-5, CEV)

Ask God to fulfill these conditions and promises in your life by faith.

 1. PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

“Everyone who trusts the Lord … everyone who is good and completely obeys Him” (vs. 1a & 4b)

Ask God to build in you faithfulness, integrity, righteousness & obedience

 2. PRAY FOR STRENGTH & ENDURANCE

“Everyone who trusts the Lord is like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken and will stand forever” (vs.1)

 3. PRAY FOR PROTECTION

“Just as Jerusalem is protected by mountains on every side, the Lord protects His people” (vs. 2a)

 4. PRAY FOR GOD’S PURPOSE & GUIDANCE

“The Lord … [holds] them in His arms … He won’t let the wicked rule His people” (vs. 2c, 3a)

The tense here is God intends to rule over His people instead of the wicked.

 5. PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE & VICTORY

“He won’t let the wicked rule His people or lead them to do wrong” (vs. 3)

 6. PRAY FOR GOD’S PROVISION

“Let’s ask the Lord to be kind to everyone who is good and completely obeys Him” (vs. 4)

Ask for God's kindness physically, financially, spiritually, vocationally.

 7. PRAY FOR PEACE (emotionally, spiritually, relationally, nationally)

“Pray for peace!” (vs. 5)
