PRAYER POINTS

Today’s prayer is based on Christmas Narrative

Come in agreement with God concerning His promises for the Christmas season. Pray these prayer points over your life with thanksgiving.

1. PRAY FOR GOD’S PRESENCE

The angel of the Lord said to Joseph: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel,” which means “God with us”. Matthew 1:23 (NIV)

 2. PRAY FOR A HEART OF SURRENDER TO GOD’S DESTINED PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

“Jesus said, `I was born for this purpose:  I came to bring truth to the world.”  John 18:37 (LB)

“My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10 (NLT)

 3. PRAY FORGIVENESS, RENEWAL & A SEASON OF REFRESHING

She [Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus because He will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:18-22 (NIV)

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32 (NIV)

 4. PRAY FOR HEALING & RECOVERY

Jesus: “The Son of man has come to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10 (NIV)

 5. ASK GOD TO PERFORM MIRACLES IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE

“The angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid.  I bring you Good News of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.’” LUKE 2:10-11(NIV84)

 6. PRAY FOR GOD’S PEACE & FAVOR

The angel told the shepherds: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests” Luke 2:14 (NIV)

 7. PRAY FOR GOD’S PROTECTION & DELIVERANCE

“The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” 1 John 3:8 (NIV)

8.  ASK GOD TO SHOWER YOU WITH HIS UNFAILING LOVE, FAITHFULNESS & GLORY

“So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.” John 1:14 (NLT)
