PRAYER POINTS | Isaiah 61:1-2

 The Prophet David prays “I will praise His holy name”. Come before the Lord praising His holy name.

Today’s prayer is focused on God’s promises from Isaiah 61

“The Spirit of the Lord God has taken control of me! He has sent me to tell the oppressed the good news, to heal the brokenhearted, and to announce freedom for prisoners and captives. 2 This is the year when the Lord God will show kindness to us and punish our enemies” Isaiah 61:1-2 (CEV)

 1. PRAY FOR AN OUTPOURING OF GOD’S SPIRIT TO LEAD, GUIDE, AND CONTROL YOUR LIFE

 “The Spirit of the Lord God has taken control of me (Isaiah 61:1a)

 2. PRAY FOR GOD TO SEND HIS ABUNDANT GOOD NEWS IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE

“The Spirit of the Lord God [has come to bring] good news (Isaiah 61:1b)

 3.ASK GOD FOR HEALING, RECOVERY & RESTORATION

spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, vocationally, relationally

“The Spirit of the Lord God [has come to] … heal the broken-hearted (Isaiah 61:1c)

 4. ASK GOD FOR DELIVERANCE & VICTORY

“The Spirit of the Lord God … [has come to] announce freedom for prisoners and captives” (Isaiah 61:1d)

 5. ASK GOD TO AMAZE YOU WITH HIS GRACE TO COVER YOU COMPLETELY

“This is the year when the Lord God will show kindness to us” (Isaiah 61:2a)

 6. PRAY FOR PROTECTION FROM ALL HARM & DANGER

This is the year when the Lord God will …  punish our enemies” Isaiah 61:2b
