"Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."  Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

1. FAITH IS  IT IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE IT

“It was by faith that Joseph, as he neared the end of his life, CONFIDENTLY SPOKE of God bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt; and he was so sure of it that he made them promise to carry his bones with them when they left!” Hebrews 11:22 (LB)

“By faith, we see the world called into existence by God's word, what we see created by what we don't see.”  Hebrews 11:3 (MSG)

“For He spoke, and it came to be. He commanded, and it stood firm.” Psalm 33:9 (NIV)

 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18 (NIV)

 (God said) “I have made you a father of many nations … God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” Romans 4:17 (NKJV)

 2. FAITH IS  GOD BEFORE I RECEIVE IT

"By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days."  Hebrews 11:30 (NIV) 

"When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it and you will be given whatever you ask for."  Mark 11:24 (GN) 

“Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks.” Philippians 4:6 (GW) 

3. FAITH IS   GOD, EVEN IF I DON'T GET IT           

“All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. For God had something better in mind for us” Hebrews 11:39-40a (NLT)

 “God lifts the poor from the dust. He lifts the needy from a garbage heap. He seats them with influential people, with the influential leaders of His people.” Psalm 113:7-8 (CEV)
